QotD: My Dream Address

Comments

I just stumbled across this post when finishing my own, but lemme tell ya something. . .I don't know if you've ever been to New York. Or if you've ever lived here for a prolonged period of time. But it really drains the life from you. I'm just a stupid teenager, but I already feel like I'm way older than that. My father grew up here- and had been through every addiction possible by the age of 21.
New York City will kill you. Or at least, it'll try it's best. Good luck in your travels, though.
I've not lived in NYC, and I've only visited twice. There's definitely enough time for the bloom to come off that rose. But the history of New York is one of the best, and I suppose I give lots of bonus points for that. (Its history is also a reason I love Dublin.)
Love London. New York? Not so much. Give Boston and Chicago a try, great cities. I really want to travel to Scotland and Ireland next and Dublin is on my list of places to see.
I will definitely give Boston a try--in fact, I'm trying to get reassigned there through work. I have a feeling that snow agrees with me.

Not sure about Chicago, though. I do plan on revisiting Dublin.
